Laure Courau

Laure Courau was born in Arcachon, Southern France. She studied classical and contemporary dance at the Conservatoire National de Bordeaux and was taught in the French method. After, she won the third prize at the International Dance Contest of Biarritz. In 1996, she  came to Germany and studied at the University of Music and Dance of Cologne where she learned the Russian ballet method as well. She graduated with the Bachelor of Arts certification. Since 1999, she gained dance experience in various theaters like Tanzforum Köln (Opera of Cologne), South Thuringian State Theater Meiningen, Landestheater Eisenach, Theater Hagen and the Baden State Theater Karlsruhe. Since 2007, Laure Courau has been a part of the Ballet Ensemble at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. She performed under 3 differents ballet directors, often as a soloist. In 2015 and 2016, she also choreographed two pieces for the dancers of the Pfalztheater Ballet Company:  „Le Villi“ which is an Opera-Ballet composed by Giacomo Puccini and „The Hours“ composed by Philip Glass. Since 2006, she has been teaching in different schools and has been invited to workshops in Germany and France. She also graduated with the state diploma of dance instructor „diplome d’etat de professeur de Danse“ in classical, contemporary and jazz dance from the „Centre National de la Danse“  institution sponsored by the French Ministry of Culture located in Paris.

 

Olga Anikeyenko

Olga Anikeyenko is a professional Ukrainian ballet dancer with 22 years of experience on theatre stages. She acquired her study in Kiev in the state Ballet Academy. She studied there for 8 years and was trained in the Vaganova Method of dancing. Her teacher was Ms. G. N. Kirillova, who was the successor and student of Vaganova, A. Kalchenko and T. Tajakina. She finished her studies with high honors. In the period of 1990 till 1996, she was hired as a dancer in the Kiev National Theater of Ballet and Opera, where she danced many solo roles. She worked there with famous choreographers like V.Kovtun, V. Litvinov, A.Ratmansky. She also performed in Prag in the National Theater and in the Kairo Opera. From 1997 until 2012, she worked as First Solo Dancer in Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. During her career, she danced all of the classical repertoire and many contemporary pieces as well. She has been teaching ballet since 2004 and has been a certified Polestar Pilates Trainer since 2008 (Polestar Pilates Education Miami). Olga is also a member of the German Association of Pilates.
